Hello friends, today I will show you how to set cash on delivery process in OpenCart. In my previous blog post I show you the procedure to Send html email in php. When you set-up your store with OpenCart you will get a default store with some eCommerce features.You can modify you store and set up your product. When a user buy a product from you store he/she must be pay you the product amount.
So you need to set up your payment options so your customers have options when ordering from you. There are multiple payment options available to use on OpenCart. In this post I will show you step by step to set cash on delivery process in OpenCart. Lets start:
Steps to set cash on delivery process in OpenCart
Step1: Log into your OpenCart Dashboard
At first go to your website admin panel by putting your site name/admin(like www.myonlineshop.com/admin). Now give your admin username and password and click “Login” button. Now you are in website admin panel. Now mouse over “System” menu and click on “settings” sub menu. Please see the below image.
Step2: Go to “Extensions” > “Payments”
Now mouse hover “Extensions” menu and click on “Payments”
Step3: Click on “Install” link
Click on “Install” link on right side of “Cash On Delivery”. This will install “Case on Delivery” payment module. Now click “Edit” beside on “Case on Delivery”.
This will open a page with case on Delivery settings. Set the settings accordingly with your requirement.
Then Click “Save” button from right corner and you are done. Now you know how to set cash on delivery process in opencart
